HOA Board and Committees
Chaparral Pines Community Association (our HOA) is comprised of Community Homeowners and is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the homeowners.
HOA responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Fiscal management and contract negotiations
Supervision of owner compliance with governing documents, rules, and regulations
Common area landscaping (along roads, in medians, and in open areas within the community)
Gates and gate access
Roads
Perimeter fence and security oversight
Hiking Trails
Selection and oversight of a management company to manage day-to-day operations of the HOA

Tim Disbrow (Board Liaison)The Architectural Review Committee (ARC) consists of six committee members, who primarily ensure that property exteriors adhere to design standards and guidelines. They also review and approve or deny homeowners’ request for modifications, additions, or renovations to their properties. This helps maintain the aesthetic appeal and property values of our community.

Mark Nichols (Board Liaison)The Firewise Committee consists of six committee members who work together to reduce the risk of wildfire damage to homes and properties. They do this by assessing wildfire risks, developing action plans, and implementing wildfire safety measures. The collaborative effort helps make the community safer from wildfires through individual and collective action.

Byron Fehler (Board Liaison)The Erosion Control Committee consists of five committee members and numerous volunteers. The committee’s role is to prevent and manage erosion. They develop strategies and implement projects to minimize erosion’s impact on the environment and infrastructure.
